The Exchange Project successfully trained groups for nearly two decades, ending in the early 2000’s. The Exchange Project proved highly successful, increasing its programs over the years to include Exchange Project “Graduate School” workshops, Training for Trainers, and the popular Dismantling Racism workshops. In an effort to extend support beyond grants and help provide grassroots groups with better organizational, fundraising, goal-setting, and resource development skills, Exchange Project director Andrea Ayvazian held weekend workshops for board and staff members of groups across the country. In 1984, Peace Development Fund began an exciting new training initiative called the Exchange Project.
